Texas Camp #4 got it's name because it was the fourth camp to be organized after the opening of Pine Springs Baptist Camp back in the 1970's. We are a family camp having something for every age group. There are morning classes for each school grade that meet in outdoor pavilians. There is an adult class which meets in the cafeteria. Classes meet from 9:00 to 9:45 each morning Tuesday through Thursday. There are two worship services each day. The first is at 10:45 AM and the second is at 7:00 PM. Wake up time is 7:00 each morning followed by an assembly for morning devotion in the Tabernacle at 7:40. Breakfast is at 8:00 Lunch is at noon and supper is served at 5:30. Recreation time is from 1:00 to 5:00 and following the evening services until 10:00 PM. The speakers for each of the services are chosen from among the pastors of the churches which are attending camp. We are considered by many to be a conservative camp with a mix of old fashion hymns and contemporary music. There is a childrens choir and an adult choir.

We are a Christian camp and campers are required to attend all of the worship services and to obey the rules. All children attending this camp must have an adult who will be responsible for them. You must furnish a minimum of one female adult per 10 girls and one male adult per 8 boys. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or gardian.
In 2019 the cost per camper is $100.00. ($15 transferable but not refundable registration fee plus $85 camp fee.) For example, if you register 20 campers but only 18 actually come to camp you will owe $30 for the 2 no-shows. Your total would then be $1,830.00 which is 18 x 100 + 30 for 2 no shows.
